DaBrielle Goodwin

Eluvial Enterprises, Inc.

DaBrielle Goodwin was 17 when she started selling single-wide trailers in her home state of Florida. She was too young to qualify for a real estate license but under the law, selling trailers was like selling a car. She was making $2,500 a month in commissions when she went to college. Soon, she was flipping trailers and selling real estate.

During a vacation in Bali she stayed in a container home and a new idea was born. Her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida, was one of the largest shipping ports in the country. She was off to the races. DaBrielle is now President and Principal Broker of Eluvial Enterprises, Inc., a boutique, real estate brokerage, construction, and development consulting firm. Eluvial specializes repurposing shipping containers in sustainable, residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. The firm is a full-service operation guiding customers from acquisition to design, supply, construction, and final delivery.

DaBrielle leads a team of eight residential and commercial real estate agents who, in turn, manage the firm’s acquisitions, predevelopment, and property management divisions. As a licensed real estate broker and general contractor, DaBrielle provides invaluable insight, expertise, and tools to developers in need of guidance to see a project through from start to completion. With over 12 years of experience, she has acquired over $45 million of opportunistic real estate deals, representing over $150 million dollars in gross asset value in the last three years.

The firm’s unique approach to construction supports Washington, D.C.’s initiative to increase the affordable housing supply through the construction of Accessory Dwelling Units.  Eluvial is currently managing nine projects in the DMV area. She is the lead developer and general contractor for D.C.’s first shipping container townhomes offering four, 1800 sq. ft. single-family units. The project is serving as a pilot for a 109-unit, mixed-use, senior living complex constructed completely from shipping containers--the first of its kind in the country.

DaBrielle is a graduate of the University of Alabama holding a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a Minor in Public Relations. She specializes in acquisitions, consulting, development, construction, and property management.

Either you're going to lose the home or you're going to keep it and have some income. You make the decision because you don't want a stranger in your back yard is an old mindset that could cause you to be homeless as you age.
